Q – What do I have to do to prepare my data before sending it to you?
A – As much or as little as you wish. We have had database owners send their data in literally thousands of small, daily-generated files. We’ve also had database owners send us their data in a file that is combined, standardized, and perfectly labelled. We are experienced with merging data from multiple sources, so you can let us worry about the details.
Q – Do you charge anything for cleaning up my database?

A – Before you ever send us a single record, we will have communicated the details of the initial process with you. In short, we don’t charge anything for preparing data we have agreed to monetize.
Q – What other charges can I anticipate, in the process of monetizing my data?
A – We take pride in having never charged a database owner a single penny for any aspect of the process of marketing their data – from the initial cleanup of the data, to the regular maintenance of the data, to the actual hosting of the database. Once we agree to start the process of database monetization, we manage and pay for every aspect of the process.
Q – Will you help me clean and standardize my database, if you are not going to market/monetize it for me?
A – Generally, no. Contact us, and we will gladly refer you to partners we utilize in the process. You can work directly with them.
Q – Can I get a copy of the data, after you’ve finished preparing it?
A – Yes! We will provide you a copy of the cleaned database, once we have finished preparing it, and anytime we update it (newly appended information, changes of address, etc).
Q – How are you paid for this process?

A – With almost no exceptions, Geon Data Solutions is paid through our marketing partners – our fees are negotiated directly with them. As a result, you will never pay more to use our expertise in monetizing your data than you would to go directly to a list manager/marketer. Contact us to learn more about industry-standard database marketing commissions.
Q – If I use Geon Data Solutions to monetize my data, can I still list my data with other sources? Do you require an exclusive arrangement?
A – Generally, all we require is disclosure regarding other processes or sources through which the data is being marketed. Essentially, this is to protect marketers/renters of the data for paying multiple times for the same data.
