Q - Are there limits to the size of databases I can monetize?
A – No! Only a few of the databases we have monetized for our clients have been stand-alone databases. After your database has been analyzed through our proprietary process, it will be merged with other databases with similar characteristics. So, whether your database contains 50 records or 50 million records, you will be paid each time one of your records is used.

Q – Are there some types of data that are better for monetization than others?
A – Definitely. When you contact us about monetizing your data (and before you send us any actual data), we will have you complete a short survey on the characteristics of the records in your database. From this, we can give you an estimate as to how your data is likely to perform in the marketplace.
Q – Do I have to divulge the source of my data to have it monetized?
A – Yes and no. We will definitely need to understand the process and sources through which the records in your database were obtained. But at Paxlab Data Solutions, there is no higher priority than your privacy – from the moment you contact us at the very beginning of the process, to sending you payments once your data is in our system. You will always control how much, if anything, our potential marketing partners will know about the source of your data. Some database owners place no restrictions on using their name (or the domain name customers used to enter their contact information) in the database monetization process. Understandably, some database owners prefer to keep their participation in the monetization process private. We can walk you through the pros and cons, from a monetization perspective, of each of your privacy requirements, so that you will be able to make informed decisions about what we disclose.

Q – Can you monetize data I’ve been provided from other sources?
A – It depends, and every situation is unique. We will work with you to make certain you have proper authorization before we will place your data in our system. If you do not own the data you wish to monetize, we will either require authorization from the actual owner of the data, or some form of proof that you acquired the data through an appropriate process.
